Our Silica Dust Control Equipment

H-Class HEPA Vacuums
For the highest level of protection and for cleanup of fine respirable silica dust (RCS), an H-Class vacuum is essential. These units offer superior filtration for maximum safety.

M-Class Dust Extractors
For the highest level of protection and for cleanup of fine respirable silica dust (RCS), an H-Class vacuum is essential. These units offer superior filtration for maximum safety.

Asbestos Equipment FAQ
Standard vacuums are not designed to capture microscopic silica dust particles. They allow respirable dust to pass through their filters and be exhausted back into the air, creating a serious health hazard. M-Class and H-Class vacuums have certified filtration systems to safely contain these particles.
On-tool extraction involves attaching a certified M-Class or H-Class vacuum directly to a power tool (like a grinder or saw) using a special shroud. This captures hazardous dust at the source, before it can become airborne, which is the most effective control method recommended by WorkSafe.
While M-Class is the minimum standard for construction dust, H-Class is required for higher-risk materials, including asbestos, and is considered best practice for fine silica dust cleanup. If you are unsure which class you need for your project's specific risk assessment, our team can provide expert guidance.
